The Village:
The most accessable part of the site, it is here where most of the action takes place.
The Gendron Store is where you enter, and it is here that the Craft Shop is located, where the guides are to be found: allow them to help you plan your visit, explain the layout, the highlights of the day and give you tips on other sites to visit in the region.
For those planning a picnis, it is a good idea to call ahead and order a picnic basket - at least a day in advance.

The Military Museum:
Contiguous to the Village, the Military Museum, dedicated to those Gaspesians who served thier country, is well worth a visit - the price of entry is included in the entry fee to the site.

Hours and fees:

SUMMER:
Open daily from June 27 until August 26 - 10AM - 5PM.
Entry: $8 for adults, $5 for young people (12 years old and under) and seniors, $20 for families and $30 for groups.

An average visit lasts 1 - 3 hours

WINTER:
From September until May the site is used by hikers, and snowshoers. The cost is the price of membership - $10 for the year, or the purchase of a day pass - $3. Since the New Richmond Cross Country Ski Club has started to maintain the ski trails, the cost of using the site for skiing will be slightly increased for the 2011-2012 season.

SPECIAL EVENTS:
The Village is known for its warm community celebrations, prices for these vary but do try to combine one of these with your planned visit.

THE NEW RICHMOND BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL:
2011: 1st - 4th September - it is looking to be the best yet!
